OS ref approx SK 274-574.

Taken 2007 by Neil France. The cottage has changed but the barn is still there.

Slaley near Bonsall

A ruinous barn and a poorly thatched cottage in Slaley near Bonsall. A gritstone house was erected on the site of this cottage in the 1920s but the barn still exists and is in a good state of repair. A man and his dog are in the foreground and a cart is in front of the barn.

Neil France writes:
The barn at Slaley is still there and easily identifiable by the square window hole in the centre and the wooden lintel above the door on the right, despite a new roof, some tie bars and a reinforcement pillar being added over the years.
